A non-resident fee of $40.00 per swimmer has been added to fees.  The non-resident fee will not exceed $80.00.

High School rates apply to High School students participating and practicing with a high school team, and are unable to attend the majority of MSC practices during the HS season.
Swimmers on a high school team may attend one MSC practice per week at no extra charge.
Swimmers on a high school team attending more than one MSC practice during the high school season will be charged the full senior fee.

THESE FEES ARE FOR REC ONLY.
THEY DO NOT INCLUDE USA FEES IF YOUR SWIMMER IS PARTICIPATING IN USA SWIMMING.
USA FEES ARE BELOW.

Team assignments are determined by the coaches based on swimmer's ability to handle the practice session and the committment level to swimming and to the team. 

Please contact Diane Smyth if you are unsure which team your swimmer is assigned to prior to sending your registration.  New Swimmers will be assigned to a team at tryouts, depending on ability and experience.

Swimmers may be changed from the Junior team to the Senior team or vice versa once the season begins if the coaches feel the need to do so.  If this happens, your registration fee will be adjusted. 

We will have 3 practice teams.

Juniors - Practice will offered 4 times per week.
            
             Tuesdays - 5:00 to 6:00 pm
             Thursdays - 5:00 to 6:00pm 
             Fridays - 6:30 to 7:30pm
             Saturdays - 2:00 – 3:00pm

Seniors - Practice will be offered 6 times per week.
     Mondays - 5:00 to 6:30pm
             Tuesdays - 6:00 to 7:30pm  
             Wednesdays - 5:00 to 6:30pm
             Thursdays - 6:00 to 7:30pm 
             Fridays - 5:00 to 6:30pm
             Saturdays - 2:30 – 4:00

Senior Level II - Practice will be offered 6 times per week
        SENIOR LEVEL II SWIMMERS ARE THOSE WITH AT LEAST 2 USA    SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP CUT-OFF TIMES FROM THE 2012 LONG COURSE SEASON.   SEE CUT-OFF TIMES SWIMMERS MAY ALSO BE PLACED ON THIS TEAM AT THE DISCRETION OF THE COACHES.

             Mondays - 5:00 to 6:30pm
             Tuesdays - 5:30 to 7:30pm  
             Wednesdays - 5:00 to 6:30pm
             Thursdays - 5:30 to 7:30pm 
             Fridays - 5:00 to 7:00pm
             Saturdays - 2:00 – 4:00pm


SWIMMERS MUST PRACTICE AT THEIR DESIGNATED PRACTICE TIME.  JUNIORS CANNOT SWIM AT THE SENIOR PRACTICE, NOR CAN SENIORS ATTEND JUNIOR PRACTICES.

Coaches can advance a Junior swimmer to the Senior Team during the course of the season if the Junior swimmer is meeting the Senior criteria.


USA TEAM FEES - 2012-2013 - SHORT COURSE

All USA swimmers will pay the Rec Team Fee and an additional USA Team Fee.

         
The fee structure for our USA Team is as follows:

             
                 Includes USA/MSC fees and USA registration       $250.00  

              *  Initial "Kitty Fund" (meet fees)  (see * below)        $ 50.00

Payment is due by October 1st.  If you would like to pay in installments, you may
pay one half of the fees (125.00 - non-refundable) and the $50.00 kitty fund deposit by October 1st, and a 2nd payment of $125.00 by November 1st
1st payments must be made by October 1st to guarantee entries into USA meets.
If usa meets need to be entered earlier than Oct. 1st, you will need to make your first payment by the meet entry deadline.

Checks should be made payable to Manchester Swim Club.

*The “Kitty Fund” is used for swimmers’ meet and event entry fees.  Fees are usually $4.00 to $6.00 for each chosen event per meet.  Championship events will be about $5.50 each.  Parent's will be asked to replenish their “kitty fund” as it is depleted.  Kitty fund fees are not refundable once they are paid out for meet events.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

CURRENT MEMBERS -
2012-13 registration forms should be sent to
Diane Smyth by regular mail.  Please do NOT email forms.
If you are planning to return, you will need to have your registration forms and a $125.00 non-refundable deposit per family, to me by Friday, August 24th .
If we do not hear from you by this date, your swimmer will be removed from the roster, and you will have to be added to the end of the waiting list before you are able to rejoin.

NEW SWIMMERS -
Swimmers on our waiting list will be notified if there is an opening, beginning August 25th.
Registration forms should only be filled out for new swimmers, if you have been notified of an opening.  New swimmers will be given registration instructions in an email once you have been contacted about an opening.
